What makes you different to your competitors?

A quick question:
 
What makes you different to your competitors?
 
I mean, TRULY different.
 
Most people respond with things like: Our level of service is better, our support is better blah blah blah, but there are two issues here:
 
1) only ACTUAL customers will know that your service and support is better
 
2) it is kinda boring.
 
This is actually a vital component for any business, and is referred to as a USP (Unique Selling Point), if you dont currently have one, then you are peeing into the wind.
 
The clue is also in the name "Unique".
 
It has to be unique to be memorable.
 
If you can get this right then you can ensure that potential customers will be:
 
a) More drawn to you instead of your competitors
b) More likely to return to your website
c) More likely to remember you
d) More likely to tell friends about you
e) More likely to think of you when they are ready to buy
f) & tons more...
 
So have a think about what you can do to stand out from your competitors, think big, and brainstorm with other people if needed.
