"Content" = information.

"List-content" = Content that is in list format

The Power of the List

List-based content is content that is in list format (the clue is in the name) ;-)

So for example:

"7 Reasons to Join http://www.BuzzProfits.com"

This would be a list-based piece of content.

I am not going to go into huge detail as to why list content works so well, but trust me, it works!

Here is a challenge for you... try and create a piece of list-based content today on your blog.

It could be "7 Reasons Why xxxxx" or "The 5 Best xxxxx" or "The 3 Biggest xxxx"

Getting Traffic To Your Blog

Hopefully by now you should have your hosting and blog online...

You may also have been wise enough to grab a premium theme from WooThemes.

All of that is great, but, a blog without traffic is not going to be much use to you.

For those of you who haven't heard of the term "traffic" before, it basically means visitors to your blog.

So how do you get traffic to your blog?

There are many ways, but I am going to share with you some free and easy methods with you today.

Do you read many blogs? Have you ever visited sites like Digg.com, Twitter.com, Delicious.com or StumbleUpon?

If so, it is very likely that you have seen list-based content

Interviews

Interviews are a great way of creating content for your blog.

There are many benefits of doing interviews on your blog, for example, it is a great way of forming relationships with people in your industry, it is free content, it positions you as an authority...

This may seem daunting, you may be thinking: "but why would these experts bother being interviewed by me?"

Don't worry, just use the law of averages... if you ask enough people, you WILL get positive responses.

Here is a simple template that you can copy and paste and send to people in your industry:

Simply find 10 blogs that you enjoy that are related to your niche/industry... then look for the contact page or email address.

Then, copy and paste the above, and fill in the gaps.
